West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Eight,
currently centered about 110 nm SE of Charleston, will track to
the NW tonight into Mon, making landfall into northern South
Carolina Mon night. All marine interests should closely monitor
the latest forecast and additional information issued by the
National Hurricane Center or your local National Weather Service
forecast office. Otherwise, a stationary front will lift N as a
warm front across the waters through Tue night, clearing just N
of the area by Wed. The cold front associated with potential
tropical cyclone eight will become stationary across the area
tonight into Mon, persist Mon night through Wed night, then
finally move E Thu and Thu night. Another cold front will drift S
across the N portion Fri and Fri night, while a high pressure
ridge builds slowly S along the coast.
