This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Sunday

Flood warnings have been issued for the Missouri River as recent
very heavy rains over southeast South Dakota and northwest Iowa
have produced significant flooding along the Missouri River
tributaries in these areas. Below Gavins Point Dam, rivers levels
will rise above flood stage during the upcoming week, with
moderate flood stage levels predicted from Blair to Rulo.
Additional flooding is occuring along Ponca Creek just south of
the South Dakota border.

There is a 5% chance or less for severe thunderstorms to develop
over southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa this evening. If
storms develop, they may produce isolated large hail or damaging
wind.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday night through Saturday

Hot, humid conditions will develop early next week with heat
indices approaching 100 to 110 on Monday and Tuesday.

Additional strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Tuesday
through Saturday, with additional heavy rainfall also possible.
