...WINDY CONDITIONS TODAY AND TOMORROW...

A pattern shift ongoing over the next 48 hours will lead to windy
conditions.  A weaker front is coming through today with steady winds
and gusts up to 30 mph.  Winds will channel through the river drainage
with wind direction generally from the northwest.  If winds on the upper
slopes are west or southwest this morning, be prepared for a shift to
more northwest winds 1300-1500 hours.  Today will feature the
lowest humidity values over the next few days. Winds decrease this
evening with light speeds by midnight.  This will be short-lived with winds
increasing early Saturday morning and strong throughout the afternoon.
Saturday will also bring a threat for showers and thunderstorms.
Any cells will capable of short-lived bursts of stronger outflow winds
to 45 mph and lightning strikes.
