.DISCUSSION...High pressure centered over New Mexico will help keep
temperatures warmer than normal overnight through the day
tomorrow, but it will also help to advect moisture into the
region. As a result, expect isolated thunderstorms to develop by
noon with storms lingering near the Uintas through sunset. The
most likely location for storms will be in the high terrain, but
some storms could slip into the valley. These storms will produce
lightning and gusty/erratic outflow winds. A lull in precipitation
overnight Tuesday will give way to more isolated showers moving
in from the west by the early morning hours Wednesday morning.
