.DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms drift slowly northwest near the fire this
evening, generally ending by 8 pm, though there may be a chance
for a stray thunderstorm through 11 pm. Gusty and erratic winds
are possible this evening. Then, another hot day is forecast
Friday, though minimum RH should be a bit higher than today.
Widely scattered thunderstorms develop near the fire early in the
afternoon, and may persist in the area through the evening. There
is potential for thunderstorm coverage to be greater in the area,
with a Red Flag Warning in effect for scattered thunderstorms on
the Yukon Flats. Storms will come with the threat of outflow winds
up to 40 mph, may produce frequent lightning, and have the
potential to be dry. Temperatures will cool slightly through the
weekend while min RHs remain around 30 percent.
