...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 nm ...
including Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary...

At 526 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Wassaw Sound Buoy to near St Catherines Buoy 3,
moving northeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 35 knots or greater.

SOURCE...At 445 PM EDT, the NERRS site on the south end of Sapelo
         Island measured a 43 knot wind gust.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
