Through 4 pm, isolated showers north of the island chain between
Smith Shoal Light and Florida Bay near Tavernier, as well as near T
Tower in the SE Gulf will remain mostly stationary. Mariners
encountering the stronger activity can expect periods of reduced
visibilities below 3 miles in moderate to heavy downpours, wind
gusts of near 20 knots, and possibly a rare lightning strike or two.
