Conditions given represent the highest within that period. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas only. A cold front will move S over the area today, then weaken and stall along 40N later today into tonight. The front will then return slowly N as a warm front late tonight into Sun, and lift N of the waters Sun night. The next cold front will gradually approach from the NW later Sun night into Mon, then move E across the area Mon night into Tue before passing E of the area Tue night.
