New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure SE of Nova
Scotia will continue moving E of the waters today. A warm front
will lift NE across the area late today into early Sun. A cold
front will approach the waters from the NW late Sun and move
across the waters Sun night and Mon. It will then become
stationary well S and E of the waters Mon night and Tue. Weak low
pressure will develop along the front late Mon, then move NE
along the front Mon night through Tue night. High pressure will
build SE across the waters Tue night and Wed, then shift SE of
the waters Wed night.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft.
.TONIGHT...S winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 9 ft. Scattered
showers and areas of fog.
.SUN...SW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 9 ft. Scattered showers,
tstms and areas of fog with vsby 1 nm or less.
.SUN NIGHT...W to SW winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 9 ft.
Scattered showers and tstms with vsby 1 nm or less.
