Activity is winding down this evening, with a few showers and
storms in southern Lake county as of 10 PM. This activity is
pushing west to southwest around 10 mph. Any lingering activity
should dissipate or move out of the local area over the next hour
or two. Otherwise, mostly dry conditions overnight across land
areas, with isolated to scattered showers and storms possible
across the Atlantic waters, especially across the Gulf Stream.
Winds will continue to be light tonight, and generally from the
south to southeast. Warm and muggy tonight, with overnight
temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, to low 80s possible across
the coast. Forecast remains on track.

VFR conditions outside of TAFs through the period. Activity is
diminishing this evening with some activity lingering south of LEE
and west of MCO/ISM. Have VCTS lingering across inland terminals
through 02/03Z. Otherwise, mostly dry overnight with light and
variable winds across all terminals. Light south/southeast winds
will increase to 5-10 KT by mid morning. The east coast sea breeze
will form and push inland in the afternoon, veering winds
easterly. VCSH starting around 17Z across all terminals. Have VCTS
starting from MLB northward starting around 18/19Z. Winds will
then become light and variable once again Thursday overnight.

Issued at 235 PM EDT Wed Jul 3 2024

A high pressure axis will hold north of Florida through Friday,
leading to light daytime SE breezes up to 10 KT (locally enhanced
at the coast during the afternoon). Winds become light SW late in
the overnight hours. The high pressure axis will settle southward
through the local Atlantic this weekend, with light (5-12 KT) S/SE
winds by day turning offshore at night. Seas 2-3 FT through the
period, with a light to moderate chop over the Intracoastal. A few
showers or isolated storms are forecast during the overnight and
early morning hours offshore, shifting closer to the coast in the
late morning and early afternoon hours.
