Conditions given represent the highest within that period. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas only. High pressure then remains through much of Sat, moving E late Sat and Sat night. A warm front moves across the area overnight Sat and Sun. Another cold front approaches the waters from the NW late Sun and moves into the waters Sun night, stalling as low pressure develops along the front late Sun night.
