New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure near Georges
Bank will move E of the waters early today. A warm front will
lift NE across the area late today into early Sun. A cold front
will approach the waters from the NW late Sun and move across
the waters Sun night and Mon. It will then become stationary
well S and E of the waters Mon night and Tue. Weak low pressure
will develop along the front late Mon, then move NE along the
front Mon night before briefly stalling just E of the waters
Tue. The low will then drift NE Tue night through Wed night,
while high pressure builds SE across the waters.
