This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible across much
of western and north central Nebraska. Storms will likely become
severe with large hail, damaging winds, and a tornado or two all
potential hazards. Areas of greatest concern will be the immediate
Interstate 80 vicinity and points north.

Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible through late tonight.
Isolated instances of flooding will be possible, especially if slow
moving storms track across areas that saw heavy rainfall Sunday night
into Monday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms are likely again Tuesday afternoon and
evening, mainly for areas east of an O`Neill to North Platte line. A
few storms may be strong to briefly severe with large hail and
damaging winds the main concerns.

More widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday
afternoon and evening for much of southwest and central Nebraska. At
this time the threat for severe weather appears low.

Additional rain and thunderstorms chances exist each day Thursday
through Sunday. At this time the threat for severe weather is
uncertain.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will be needed, especially north of Interstate 80.
