The runoff from this rain could potentially bring the Missouri River, below Gavins Point Dam, above flood stage during the upcoming week, with some locations possibly reaching moderate flood stage. Additional flooding is occuring along Ponca Creek just south of the South Dakota border. There is a 5% chance or less for severe thunderstorms to develop over southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa this afternoon. If storms develop, they may produce isolated large hail or damaging wind. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Hot, humid conditions will develop early next week with heat indices approaching 100 to 110 on Monday and Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
