.DISCUSSION...Rest of today through Friday...
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected again this
afternoon. Storms will have the potential to produce locally heavy
rain and gusty winds. RHs will remain above 30% today.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...
Rain chances will decrease and temperatures will increase for
Friday and the weekend across the plains. Minimum RHs will drop
into 15% to 25% range on Sunday, but winds are expected to remain
below critical thresholds during the afternoon when RHs will be
lowest. Moisture will start to increase on Monday, with rain
chances returning to the plains Monday into the middle of next
week. The mountains will keep daily chances for isolated showers
and storms through the weekend.
