Freezing rain will be likely mainly east of a line from Manchester, Iowa to Sterling, Illinois during the evening commute on Tuesday. Temperatures should warm above freezing into the evening before a cold front comes through turning the precipitation to snow. Windy conditions will develop Tuesday night into Wednesday. Winds may gust up to 40 to 45 mph at times. There is a chance for snow Wednesday night into Thursday. At this time, snowfall amounts look to be light. Windy conditions are expected Friday into Friday night as arctic cold moves into the Midwest.
