Another hot and humid day prevailed across central and eastern
Kansas, however daytime highs were not as high compared to the
previous couple of days. Afternoon temperatures were in the upper
80s over northeast Kansas to the low 100s in south central Kansas.

Scattered showers and storms will be possible again tonight mainly
affecting western Kansas, and parts of eastern Kansas and
southeast Nebraska into Missouri. A few strong to severe storms
will be possible this evening across western Kansas otherwise low
chances for severe weather further east. Overnight lows will range
from the low 60s in the Nebraska panhandle, to the muggy upper 70s
in eastern Oklahoma.

There could be some lingering showers and storms across eastern
Kansas into western Missouri for Wednesday morning. Meanwhile
surface low pressure will deepen over southeast Colorado during
the day with southeast winds. Additional showers and storms are
expected to redevelop over eastern sections of Nebraska and
Kansas Wednesday afternoon. Daytime highs will range from the low
90s in Nebraska to the low 100s over central Oklahoma.
