.SHORT TERM...
(Rest of today through Tuesday Night)
Issued at 1030 AM CST Mon Nov 3 2025

It`s been a foggy morning for many across Middle Tennessee. The last
areas of fog and low stratus are mixing out with blue skies for all
of the area this afternoon. High pressure is centered to our
southwest and that will slowly drift eastward through tomorrow.
Models are hinting at more areas of fog overnight although
confidence in widespread dense fog is not as high. Lows overnight
will be in the mid to upper 30s with some patchy frost possible.
However, any fog that develops could limit the frost. Temperatures
will begin to warm on Tuesday as we pick up a weak southerly
component to the low level winds. With the southerly flow,
temperatures will not drop as much Tuesday night with lows in the
40s instead of the 30s.

.LONG TERM...
(Wednesday through next Monday)
Issued at 1030 AM CST Mon Nov 3 2025

Wednesday looks like the nicest day of the week with plenty of
sunshine and highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s. A dry front will
push into the area Wednesday night as surface high pressure slides
across the Midwest knocking temperatures down 4 or 5 degrees for
Thursday. Our next rain chance looks to be Friday as a surface low
deepens across the southern Canadian provinces dragging a cold front
with more moisture across the area on Friday. QPF with this system
doesn`t look overwhelming with amounts generally less than 0.5"
expected. Models have very limited instability on Friday, so
severe weather is not expected. Saturday looks dry for now, but
another system will be on the heels of the Friday system and will
move through Saturday night into Sunday. There are some questions
how much moisture will be available with the Sunday trough and
front.
