.Discussion...
Warm and dry conditions are forecast across the district through
the week, producing spotty critical fire weather conditions each
day. A more widespread threat of increased fire danger is forecast
for Friday and Saturday as winds increase. A system passing by to
the north will help cool temperatures slightly over the weekend
and into the next work week, along with a slightly better chance
for some precipitation.
Surface-based inversions will begin to break across the district
tomorrow between 1000 and 1100, with smoke dispersion improving to
Very Good to Excellent over the higher terrain, and Fair to Good
for the eastern plains. Favorable ventilation rates are
anticipated between 1200 and 1900. Improved smoke dispersion is
forecast for Wednesday.
