.Discussion...
Another round of moderate to heavy snow will impact the central
mountains and portions of the Continental Divide Friday night
through Saturday while the remainder of the area stays
predominantly dry and breezy at times. Temperatures will rebound
gradually into Saturday as the system crosses the mountains and
winds increase behind its passage. Temperatures will remain below
normal through Monday with snow showers at times across the central
mountains. Temperatures will return to near normal towards the
middle of next week.
Afternoon dispersions will remain poor across the San Luis Valley
and southeast plains on Friday but will rise into the fair to good
range across the mountains. Smoke dispersions will improve on
Saturday into the very good to excellent range across the central
mountains and southeast mountains while remaining poor to fair across
the plains and San Luis Valley.
