.DISCUSSION...
The late summer pattern is slowly working back into view with the
current pattern locked in around the major players. Surface high
over the N Gulf will be reinforced in the back door over the SE
U.S. keeping us in the S/SW flow through the weekend with a
warming trend set to slowly continue for us. The models are still
looking at a slight chance for rain early next week, but this air
mass and it`s cold front will push into the Ohio valley and
further keep the surface high over the Gulf coastal waters. The
next system will be a deep trough setting up on the west coast
now, that will cross the intermountain west early next week. We
will see our SW flow aloft bringing in all the Pacific moisture to
our area by midweek and through Thursday and Friday with the
heaviest amounts and chance for some bumpy storms overnight into
early Thursday and then shifting this heavy axis to our east by
sunset. The system will slowly clear from W to E during Friday.
