...Red Flag Warnings are in effect from 10 AM until 10 PM Saturday
and Sunday across the central and southern mountains...
.Discussion...
Dry, windy and hot conditions will continue for Sat and Sun with
critical fire weather conditions returning for the mountains,
valleys and adjacent plains both days. Red Flag Warnings have been
posted for all locations where fuels are critical, which is mainly
the central and southern mountains. Isolated afternoon
thunderstorms will return for Sunday across the far southeast plains
where gusty winds and lightning will be the primary risks.
Thunderstorm chances increase early next week as a cold front drops
through the plains, and mid and high level moisture streams up from
the south. This will knock temperatures back down to near to a
little below normal through the middle of next week. Temperatures
start to increase again through late week, with thunderstorm chances
decreasing.
Afternoon dispersions will become excellent for all areas both
Saturday and Sunday.
