For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Very strong winds will develop out ahead of a strong spring storm system
today with gusts of 45 to 75 mph. Numerous wind highlights are in effect
until midnight tonight. A potent cold front will move through later this
evening and overnight, bringing widespread precipitation and much cooler
temperatures. Cool and unsettled weather then persists through much of the
upcoming week.
