Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Northwest gales continue over the open waters of Lake
Huron today trailing the early morning cold front. Gusts near 30
knots occur across all other marine areas into early evening.
High pressure, 30.50 inches, then builds into the Ohio valley and
southern Great Lakes by Thursday morning but slides quickly
eastward as the next low pressure system, 29.40 inches, moves
into northern Ontario Friday. This system pulls another cold
front across the central Great Lakes Friday night into Saturday.

.TODAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 15 to 20 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 25 knots. Partly
sunny. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots early in the morning. Mostly clear. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10
knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then increasing to
10 to 15 knots late in the afternoon. Sunny. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Clear. Waves 2
feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20
knots with gusts to 30 knots in the afternoon and evening. Mostly
sunny until late afternoon...then mostly cloudy with a chance of
light showers in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance
of showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly clear. A chance of
showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
