This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy fog in low-lying areas is possible until mid-morning for
locations mainly along and east of a Russell to Hutchinson to
Wellington line. Visibilities could be reduced to around 1 mile
for a few locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Very high grassland fire danger is expected on Thursday afternoon
for locations generally along and east of the Kansas turnpike.

Very high grassland fire danger is expected area-wide on Friday
afternoon and across part of southeast Kansas Saturday afternoon.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Friday afternoon across
southeast Kansas and Friday evening and Friday night across central
and southeast Kansas. A locally strong storm is possible Friday

Periodic thunderstorm chances look to increase for Sunday afternoon
through Monday night mainly across south central and southeast
Kansas. A few strong storms will be possible.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
