This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat indices up to around 100 degrees are expected this afternoon
across central and eastern Kansas.

Thunderstorm chances will increase from the west this evening and
night, especially over central Kansas. A few severe thunderstorms
are possible, with wind gusts up to around 60 mph possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Heat indices up to around 100 degrees are possible Friday afternoon
across central and eastern Kansas.

Thunderstorm chances increase areawide Friday afternoon and
evening, with off-and-on chances persisting Saturday through the
middle of next week. In each instance, a handful of strong to
severe thunderstorms are possible, along with heavy rainfall.
