This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a chance for thunderstorms this morning across the Flint
Hills and southeast Kansas. An isolated strong storm with small hail
and gusty winds will be possible.

There is a better chance for strong to severe storms this afternoon
and early evening across south central and southeast Kansas. The
main threats will be large hail up to golf ball size and damaging
wind gusts to 70 mph. Locally heavy rainfall and minor lowland
flooding will also be possible.

Heat indices of 104 to 108 are also expected this afternoon and
early evening across portions of south central and southeast Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees are possible during the afternoon
hours from Tuesday through Friday of next week.

There will be slight chances for thunderstorms periodically from
Monday night through Thursday night. A few strong to marginally
severe storms will be possible.


Spotter activation is possible this afternoon and early evening
across south central and southeast Kansas.
