This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms will become likely during the late
afternoon and into the overnight hours. An isolated severe
thunderstorm with 60 mph or 1 inch hail can`t be ruled out. The
overnight hours appear to have the best chances for the isolated
severe thunderstorms generally along and south of US 56. North of US
56 could see some strong thunderstorms overnight tonight but these
storms are expected to remain below severe levels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible Monday
during the day. Severe thunderstorms are not expected during this

Very high Grassland Fire Danger is expected for the afternoons of
Thursday and Friday with brisk southerly winds.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
