The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach SC out 20
  nm...

* Until 1045 AM EDT.

* At 945 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Edisto Forty Reef, or near N. Edisto
  Nearshore Reef, moving east at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 35 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
