.DISCUSSION...
Today will remain fairly dry with minimum RH values in the 35 to
45 percent range inland and the 45 to 55 percent range over the
coasts. Expect southerly winds to be in the 5 to 10 mph range with
occasional gusts near 15 mph through the afternoon. With
southerly winds continuing through most of the weekend, RH values
will be on an upward trend through the weekend. Patchy fog will
begin to be possible overnight into Saturday morning for
northwestern locations. Another surge of dry air is expected early
next week after the next frontal passage on Sunday. We are
monitoring the potential for elevated fire weather conditions on
Monday as dry air overlaps with gusty northerly winds.
