In the wake of the cold front earlier on Thursday, windy conditions will continue into Friday. The low pressure system associated with the cold front will lift slowly toward the Canadian Maritimes Friday and Saturday. High pressure will build over the eastern U.S. this weekend. Another intense surface low will move from the southern Plains on Sunday to the Great Lakes region Sunday night, with an associated cold front crossing the Mid-Atlantic on Monday.
