Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
356 AM MDT Fri Jun 25 2021

.Discussion...

Unsettled and cooler weather is expected across the region for the
next several days. Temperatures will be on the warm side this afternoon,
cooling off for this weekend into early next week. Showers and
thunderstorms, some severe, are expected this afternoon and evening
mainly over the Plains. Several disturbances will move across the
region this weekend into the middle of next week, each bringing periods
of showers and thunderstorms. Lightning will be the main thunderstorm
risk. If a stronger storm moves over a burn scar, flash flooding may
also be possible.

Smoke dispersions will start off poor this morning, becoming fair to
good this afternoon. Smoke dispersions will fall off to poor again
tonight.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
