DECEMBER WITH RECORDS GOING BACK TO 1998. THE WARMEST READING FOR
THE MONTH WAS 78 DEGREES ON THE 1ST...WHICH BROKE THE 1998 DAILY
RECORD OF 60 DEGREES. THIS ALSO SET A NEW ALL-TIME MONTHLY HIGH
TEMPERATURE RECORD. A RECORD HIGH ON THE 2ND HIT 72
DEGREES...BREAKING THE 2012 RECORD OF 62...AND THE 22ND HIT 58
DEGREES...WHICH TIED THE 2005 RECORD.

THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE WAS 5 BELOW ZERO ON THE 29TH AND 31ST. THE
29TH TIED THE 2014 RECORD LOW OF 5 BELOW. A RECORD LOW OF 2 BELOW ON
THE 27TH...BROKE THE 2014 RECORD OF PLUS 3...AND THE 28TH LOW OF 2
DEGREES TIED 2001.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS 0.40 INCHES...WHICH IS 235 PERCENT
OF NORMAL...MAKING IT THE 2ND WETTEST DECEMBER ON RECORD. THE
WETTEST 24-HOUR PERIOD WAS ON THE 9TH-10TH WHEN 0.21 INCHES FELL.
