Hot to excessively hot temperatures will migrate north reaching parts of the northern Plains and Upper Midwest today into Monday along with the threat of severe thunderstorms. Hurricane Hone will pass just south of the Hawaiian Islands today before pushing further west away from Hawaii through the week.
