Heavy Rainfall Continues Over Parts of Texas; Excessive Heat Forecast by Midweek in the Southwest U.S. and California

Thunderstorms will continue to produce locally heavy rainfall that may lead to scattered flash flooding in central Texas and a part of the Texas Gulf Coast into Tuesday.
