Flooding Threat Continues Along the Gulf Coast; Major to Extreme HeatRisk in the West

Additional rounds of heavy rainfall are expected along the Gulf Coast and the Southeast today. The greatest threat for flash flooding will be in Louisiana, where a Moderate Risk (level 3 of 4) of excessive rainfall has been issued.
