...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING FOR COOKE AND GRAYSON COUNTIES...

At 356 AM CDT, Doppler radar continues to indicate thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. The heaviest rain has
fallen between Callisburg to Whitesboro to Gunter to Van Alystne.
Please do not travel unless you are sure roads are not flooded!

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Sherman, Gainesville, Whitesboro, Denison, Van Alstyne, Howe,
  Pottsboro, Collinsville, Gunter, Tom Bean, Lindsay, Callisburg,
  Knollwood, Dorchester, Lake Kiowa, Lake Texoma, Ray Roberts Park
  Johnson Branch, Eisenhower State Park, Hubert H Moss Lake and
  Randell Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dangerous flash flooding is occurring or is imminent. Do not attempt
to travel unless you are fleeing flood waters.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
