ONSET...This Morning. DISCUSSION... A low pressure system aloft will bring scattered showers and storms to the region today. A storm or two may become strong to severe this afternoon and early evening, with a wind and hail threat. Locally heavy rainfall is possible across western Arkansas and neighboring far eastern Oklahoma, where the highest coverage of showers and storms is expected. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. SATURDAY and SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
