...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN ROOSEVELT AND EAST
CENTRAL DE BACA COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM MDT...

At 454 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Taiban, or 14 miles east of Fort Sumner, moving west at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Taiban and Tolar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.
