.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

- There is a slight chance of patchy freezing fog occurring again
  tonight.

- Light precipitation chances return late tonight through
  Wednesday.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:
There is still dense fog maintaining its grip on the Missouri and
Yellowstone River valleys. This is expected to continue through
the afternoon before dissipating late this afternoon. The best
shot at seeing fog again tonight is in Daniels and Sheridan
counties. There is patchy freezing fog possible in all other
counties. A shortwave trough is expected to bring some mid to high
clouds ahead of it, which will hopefully help dissipate any fog by
mid morning tomorrow. Scattered precipitation in the form and rain
are expected to move in tonight and occur through Wednesday. The
weak upper level flow will not allow significant moisture to make
it up to northeast Montana, which is why precipitation remain
rather low through Wednesday.

For Wednesday night onward, mainly zonal flow and slightly above
average temperatures are expected to continue. There is low
confidence on any disturbances bringing precipitation in the
extended forecast.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
Increased winds for the local effect around Glasgow and Vandalia
from Day 1 through early Day 3. Added patchy fog to the area
through the morning tomorrow. There is moderate confidence on
freezing fog redeveloping tonight across the northeast part of the
area, with low confidence elsewhere and lasting through noon
tomorrow. Confidence is high for the temperature pattern this week
remaining slightly warmer than normal. There is moderate
confidence on precipitation remaining below 0.10 inches through
Wednesday.

.AVIATION...

FLIGHT CAT RANGE: VFR, slight chance IFR/LIFR

DISCUSSION: Areas of dense fog will slowly dissipate this
afternoon. A stationary surface front and surface moisture will
be around again tonight. There is low (30 percent) confidence of
patch freezing fog occurring at all TAF sites from 03Z to 15Z. Mid
to high clouds are expected to move in after 00Z, which will work
to inhibit IFR and LIFR to some degree. This is why confidence
remains low on fog development tonight. There is moderate to high
(50 to 60 percent) confidence of MVFR conditions occurring
tonight.

WINDS: Mainly east at 6 to 20 knots.

EQUIPMENT: KOLF`s ASOS telecom circuit is down and can not be
dialed into. Therefore, AMD NOT SKED for this TAF until repairs
can be made.
