This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible along and ahead of
a developing dryline Thursday evening, including portions of west
central and southwest Kansas. The primary threat will be quarter to
golf ball size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. Gusty south
winds and low relative humidity will create elevated to significant
fire weather conditions Thursday afternoon. Limited fire weather
conditions will then be possible nearly each day through the early
part of next week due to gusty winds and low relative humidity.

  - Severe thunderstorm: Elevated risk
  - Non thunderstorm wind: Limited risk
  - Fire weather: Significant risk
