STRONG GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO A CONTINUED
LIMITED RISK OF WILDFIRE SPREAD TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS.
COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL WORK TO LIMIT THIS THREAT.

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM ORIGINATING FROM THE DESERT SOUTHWEST MAY
BRING SNOW TO SOUTHWEST KANSAS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. THE PREDICTED
STORM TRACKS IN THE MODELS ARE STILL CHANGING, AND UNCERTAINTY IS
HIGH. AS IT STANDS NOW, ANY SNOW WOULD FAVOR THE SOUTHERN
COUNTIES FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
