This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Areas of fog will continue this morning from Hays south to Medicine
Lodge. Locally dense fog is possible as well.

A red flag warning has been issued for areas along and west of Garden
City. Do not burn.

Day 1 Hazards
* Non-thunderstorm wind: Limited risk
* Fog: Elevated risk
* Fire weather: Significant risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

Elevated fire weather conditions will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday.
Burning is discouraged. High fire danger is possible again on Thursday.

A weather system moves through Thursday and Friday. Right now, most
of the snow accumulation should be north of the forecast area.
