This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
A high wind warning is in effect today west of highway 83. Please
refer to the latest statements for more information.

There will be a chance for rain showers and isolated
thunderstorms Today. A few storms early this morning northeast of
a Ness City to Medicine Lodge line may produce isolated wind
gusts up to 50 mph. No severe weather is expected from any storm
that does develop this afternoon or early tonight.

Day 1 Hazards
* Lightning: Limited risk
* Non-thunderstorm wind: Significant risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

Limited Fire weather conditions can be expected over the weekend
period. There may even be a few thunderstorms on Sunday in south
central Kansas. The main hazards from these storms should they
develop will be cloud to ground lightning.

Thunderstorms will be possible on Tuesday but at this time it is
too early to tell if these storms will be severe.

 - Fire weather: Limited risk

* Monday
  No hazards.

* Tuesday
  - Lightning: Limited risk

* Wednesday
  No hazards.

* Thursday
