This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow is expected
Thursday night through Friday morning, eventually changing to all
rain as temperatures warm on Friday. While snow amounts appear
fairly low, there is a potential for up to one-tenth of an inch of
ice accumulation, with the highest amounts over portions of
Ashland, Iron, and Price Counties.

Another round of wintry mixed precipitation is possible Saturday
night through early Sunday morning.

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations to the National Weather
Service. Spotters and the public can also report precipitation
type with the free M-PING smartphone app.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

An approaching area of low pressure will veer winds northeasterly
Friday with increasing wind speeds by Friday night. Sustained
winds of 15 to 25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots appear
likely from late Friday night into Saturday evening. The wind and
building waves may create conditions hazardous to smaller vessels.
