...A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT INTO
FRIDAY MORNING...

Look for a wintry mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow
for a few hours this evening. The precipitation will change to
all snow for a period late tonight into Friday morning, then
return to all rain late Friday morning. Snow accumulations will
be less than one inch for areas along and south of Highway 2 in
Minnesota, an inch or two for most of northwest Wisconsin. The
most snow, 1 to 3 inch amounts are expecte north and east of
Highway 53 in northeast Minnesota. There may also be a thin glaze
of ice accumulations, but generally less than five hundredths of
an inch.

This wintry mix of precipitation will create some hazardous roads
late tonight through Friday morning. Allow extra time for the
Friday morning commute.
