THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL IOWA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TONIGHT. HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE WITH
THESE STORMS...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL...AND LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE FROM LATE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.
THERE IS A THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING ACROSS THE AREA. THE THREAT
FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS LOW.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA. FOR ADDITIONAL

ACROSS THE AREA MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT WHERE ONE TO TWO
ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLY LEADING TO FLASH FLOODING AND
RISES IN SMALL STREAMS. A FEW SEVERE STORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE AT
TIMES.

ISOLATED MODERATE RAINFALL TOTALS THROUGH THE NIGHT WEST OF
INTERSTATE 35.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY AND RETURN
ACROSS THE AREA MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT MAINLY FROM
CENTRAL THROUGH NORTHERN IOWA WHERE ONE TO TWO ROUNDS OF HEAVY
