...MODERATE SNOW EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING
OVER PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ORGANIZING OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL LIFT
NORTHEAST TOWARD THE GREAT LAKES SPREADING SNOW ACROSS THE AREA LATE
TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL
MODERATELY AT TIMES BEFORE QUICKLY DIMINISHING DURING THE LATE
MORNING TO EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS WEDNESDAY.

WET SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 3 INCHES. IN
ADDITION...THERE MAY BE A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN THAT OCCURS
WITH THE SNOW ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM ESCANABA THROUGH GERMFASK
TO NEWBERRY EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

THE SNOW WILL LIKELY LEAD TO ROADS BECOMING SNOW COVERED OR SLUSHY
FOR THE WEDNESDAY MORNING COMMUTE. AS TEMPERATURES WARM INTO THE
UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...MUCH OF THE SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO MELT OFF THE ROADS.
