THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHEAST IOWA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL BE FOUND THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT
BEFORE IMPROVING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH AS WINDS INCREASE.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR BENTON AND BUCHANAN
COUNTIES. SNOW WILL MOVE BACK ACROSS PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL AND
NORTHEAST IOWA OVERNIGHT. THE SNOW MAY BE MODERATE TO BRIEFLY
HEAVY AT TIMES OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA ALONG AND NORTHWEST
OF A VINTON TO MANCHESTER LINE WHERE 1 TO 3 INCHES IS LIKELY.
ELSEWHERE COULD SEE 1 TO 2 INCHES ACCUMULATION. INCREASING WINDS
LATE TONIGHT COUPLED WITH THE SNOWFALL MAY LEAD TO PERIODS OF
GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITY OVER NORTHEAST IOWA... WITH DRIFTING
AND SNOW COVERED ROADS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

LINGERING LIGHT SNOW WILL BE FOUND EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING
OVER NORTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS. ANY ADDITIONAL
ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE LESS THAN AN INCH. NORTHWEST WINDS
GUSTING TO 35 MPH WILL CREATE PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW MAINLY OVER NORTHEAST IOWA.
