This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Lake effect snow showers will affect Iron county in northern
Wisconsin through this evening, especially along the higher
elevations of the Gogebic Range. Around 5 to 7 inches of snow
accumulations will be possible over northern Iron county through
Thursday morning. Please see the latest Winter Weather Message for
details on the Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Lake effect snow showers are possible Thursday night and Friday,
which could bring several more inches of snow accumulation to parts
of Bayfield, Ashland and Iron Counties.

Other opportunities for lake effect snow will also exist across the
south shore of Lake Superior throughout the long term period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Snow spotters are requested to report measurements of snow
accumulations to the National Weather Service. Spotters and the
public can also report precipitation type with the free M-PING
smartphone app.

A small craft advisory remains in effect for the nearshore waters of
western Lake Superior today. See the latest marine products for
detailed information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The small craft advisory will continue through Thursday morning
across western Lake Superior. See the latest marine products issued
by our office for more information.
