This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Rain moving across the outlook area this afternoon and evening
along with melting snow will likely result in some ponding of
water in low-lying areas and roadways. There may also be a few
rumbles of thunder this afternoon and early evening. The thunder
may be accompanied by locally heavier rainfall and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A fast-moving clipper will bring a wintry mix Wednesday morning
changing over to rain during the afternoon before changing over to a
mix of rain and snow during the evening. Snow accumulation of up to
2 inches is expected during the evening, but the combination of
precipitation and cool temperatures may create slippery stretches on
roadways Wednesday morning and evening.

There is potential for a winter storm to impact northwest Wisconsin
and eastern portions of northeast Minnesota late Thursday night
through Saturday. Light to moderate snow accumulations are
expected east of the I-35 corridor, but the track of the system is
still uncertain at this time. Those with travel interests late
this week should continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn Spotter activation will not be needed this afternoon or
tonight.
